What's in a name: VacSeenNation. The name says it all. Sounds just like vaccination, which is the underlying premise:
Vac = Vaccination Seen = Seen Nation = Nation
The Nation of man (humanity) being Seen promoting and receiving the
Vaccination. As simple as that.
VacSeenNation is all about promoting the mass (global) vaccination against the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, in order to achieve global
community ("herd") immunity against COVID-19 so that we can turn this page, and move on. We will be providing the opportunity via this platform for those who
have been vaccinated to spread the word to others: stories, photos, videos, etc. Especially photos and/or videos of you being vaccinated.
But wait, there's more. We have fashioned the site as a challenge. In similar vein as the Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
which involved the pouring of a bucket of ice water over a person's head, either by another person or self-administered, to promote awareness of the disease
amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Their goal was to encourage donations to ALS research.
Our challenge is for people to invite others (family, friends, co-workers, neighbours, etc.) to join our community so they can too show the world they have or
will be vaccinated (when available). The goal is to encourage others to do the same. Your invited members become part of your Network. So, you can challenge
others by inviting more members into your Network. Larger your Network, higher your community Ranking. You can have friendly competitions with others: including
individuals, cities, provinces / states / regions, and countries. A fun way to get out the messaging, and put this virus behind us.
To encourage others (particularily those not inclined to be vaccinated) to do the same. "We can be heroes, just for one day": David Bowie, Heroes (1977).
